I'm skimming some bad areas on a 54' vette with carbofill and I was wondering if I need to gel over the carbo fill. This is the first project I've used it on. I usually epoxy a glass body, skim with filler and re epoxy and finish from there. I'm hoping the carbo fill will shrink/expand less than normal filler against the glass. I'm not holding my breath but I'm trying different methods. Skimming with carbofill sure looks like a nice coating that wouldn't need a gelcoat but I'm open to opinions. Thanks for the help.
