So the story is that my girlfriend had kept a picture in her wallet for 2.5 years of a 1969 Mach 1 Fastback, Red/black hood.

Well, 2.5 years later I found a red 69 Fastback.....guy wanted too much $.....called me 6months later and I got it for her and surprised her...since then, we lowered it, changed the brakes, wheels, headers and exhaust...now it is off to paint...and body...here are some update pics....

The reason I chose Bristol is that Gary the owner is a car nut! He has been in the valley for years, is a car guy, knows cars, goes to all of the shows...an enthusiast from the word GO. He also has a bunch of Ferraris in there....so if he can handle them.....I am sure he can handle the Fastback.

When I got the car, it was jacked up in the rear...so oxidized that it was white not red, drum brakes, really bad old wheels...etc.

In any event, she drove it off and on...when it was a hot CA. summer day 100+ she would choose to drive the mustang to work over her 1998 mustang.... :)
