Saw them in an article about hardline and flex hose in the latest Camaro Performers. Just wondering if anyone has used Koul Tools for putting on their hose ends and if they work well.

I never have used them, but I have never had a problem assembling AN fittings the old fashioned way. They seem a little pricey for a do-it-yourselfer. How many hose ends are you going to assemble? If you were a shop that built them every other day, then it might pay off. But if you're just doing your own car, you might want to keep your money.

Probably about a dozen hoses, between fuel, trans/oil cooler lines.

Before I did my plumbing, I thought about getting them, but i would need both sets. I did my A/C, fuel and Teflon P/S hose with out them w/ no issues and I have never done it before. I did do a couple of practice ones form spares my friends had. It may cut down on time a little, but I spent more time critiquing my hose to achieve nice aesthetics than putting the ends on.

I have -4 thru -12. They do work well and cut way down on *****ed fingers. The small sizes are the most useful. I hope to never have to do another -4 without this tool. I do quite a few hoses and can justify the cost. If you are working mostly with -6 and above, spend the money elsewhere. Just not that hard to do the old way.

My goodness we are getting PC. *****ed according to Websters, n: tear or small wound made by a point. vb: pierce slightly with a sharp point.
