Not really, most truck freight shipments are going to cost the same give or take a few dollars no matter who you buy the parts from. With that said, if you bought enough stuff from one supplier in one large purchase, you might be able to take advantage of a free freight policy some companies have. In the last 3 weeks we have bought $7000 in sheetmetal from 2 sources and got it all shipped for free. If you can email me your list of needs we might be able to work out shipping arrangements if the dollar amount is high enough.

Best way to save on shipping is to buy everything at once and have them quote the shipping as a package. The parts will likely be put on a pallet and you are less likely to have shipping damage - sort of like safety in numbers.

Shipping to a business versus a residential address will save at least $50 per shipment. As already stated you are much better off combining shipments at least until you surpass the freight companies minimum charge. Sheetmetal is relatively light, so you are paying for the single shipment. Companies can do free freight or cheaper freight, but the rules of business still apply so you will pay for it somewhere.

I found Matt's classic bowties.com were real good at combining multiples on one truck freight together. Give them a call for quotes
