I would like some input as to what the ride quality is when switiching to a 17" or 18" rims.My car currently has 15" wheels.I am really liking the new Rocket Racing BOOST wheels I have asked a few people locally and some say marginal to extreme harsh.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on suspension really. My car rides awesome but I don't have leaf springs or dated suspension either.

Shorter sidewall = stiffer ride. No one can argue that. Some sidewalls are stiffer than others as well, depending on the tire style you get. Going from 15's to about anything larger you'll notice a stiffer/harsher ride. 17's will offer you're best bet and give you minimal increased ride harshness.

Just from a wheel repair issue, yeah, I had to get three wheels repaired. They were 18" with very thin sidewalls. Hit a road repair and it jacked up three of them. For a street car a lil more rubber (sidewall) is nice to have. JR Oh, and you can get some tires with a taller sidewall that have a stiff sidewall. I have some goodyear f1 gs-d3 tires and the side wall is very stiff. Like a wall :)

Seats make a huge difference too. My buddies C6 feels like a firm Cadillac and it has 19's out back from the factory.
