It is an 84 GMC that was originally built in 1991. Now with only 4000 miles since the build. The frame on my truck is not narrowed but it is notched and the 29x18.50x15" rear tires fit great under the bed. The Ford 9 inch narrowed axle housing measures 48" and is painted silver with Strange axles, posi, 3.07 gears and Wilwood Discs. It has a full ladder bar suspension with adjustable Alden Eagle coilover shocks. The front wheels are 15x8" and the rears are 15x14" and all are 5X4.75" bolt pattern Centerline Convo Pro series, they are satin centers with polished lip. My friend that built this truck also had a Camaro and he wanted to run the same set of drag slicks at the Friday night drags. He got over that idea pretty fast when he realized this truck isn't fast.
I am very interested in changing the rear suspension to a corvette c4 IRS. I also want to put larger wheels on it and drive it a lot more.
I have been following the Syborg build on this site and I've been a member for a few months. There are a lot of great projects on here. If anyone has info or insight on the C4 IRS conversion I would love to hear/read it.
