Fiberglass hoods

I am thinking about getting a fiberglass hood for the bird. I am looking for opinions/observations from you guys who have experience with different companies(VFN, ect) and products. I like the idea of a hood that can use the stock hinges and latch. Hood pins are not out of the question. I guess I have an idea in my head that the latch will hold tighter. Thanks for your help.

I've used a glass hood with the factory hinges and lower tension springs for years held down with two hood pins in the front without any problems. The only thing that is difficult is opening the hood, I squeeze my little finger in at the front corner to start to lift it. As far as companies - stay away from Unlimited Products - fit/finish is crap.
