It's different I'll give it that. But beyond the special paint, is it a $170,000 car? If I was going to plunk down that kind of cash (assuming I had it in the first place), I'd want to see some documentation that the crossram was even bought at the same time as the car, it wasn't listed on the order form, plus, as far as I know the only car that had the crossram actually installed at the factory was the '68 convertable, and even that is the subject of debate (by others, I have no idea). Who would bid on something like that without going to see it and verify that it is everything someone says it is? If you're interested you can check out this thread at the Supeercar Registry.

I saw that car earlier today. Anyone notice the Z28 stripes? It says it was a aftermarket option:

"The baby blue paint was special-ordered ( the color was not normally available for the Z/28). The was also ordered with the white racing stripes wrapping all the way around the rear bumper - just like the Trans-Am cars he had seen on TV and is the only one ever produced from the factory with the strips running all the way down.

I have seen a 69 Z28 with speacial baby blue paint and white Z stripes but never seen a car with those type stripes. Personally I would be buying a Yenko, but the car is unique and 1 of a kind.

I remember seeing that car on e-bay about a year ago. its sold for $150k last year. I think he should take it to Barrett Jackson, he would probably double it.
