A buddy of mine has a 69 Camaro with a cowl hood. I was checking it out real close and noticed how well it fit. I wondered if it was a NOS hood that someone had placed on it, being that I can usually spot a repoduction cowl hood from about 15 feet away. The fit, finish, edges and braces all looked good out of the box with no body work when it was purchased 7 years ago he stated. It had "Golden Trust" stamped on it (not Golden Legion). He did an internet search on it and found that at some point Dynacorn had had some hoods made in Canada under the "Golden Leaf" name. How many different companies actually manufacturer cowl hoods and are there any made in North America? Anybody else ever notice this? I bought a repo SS hood and had to spend more money on the hood to make it fit "show quality" than the price of the hood itself and it was much lighter in weight (thinner metal).

Golden Leaf is Dyncaorn's Canadian sister. They only service Canada where Dynacorn only takes care of the US
