Anyone know if this has been done? I have got an old steel body 3 window coupe(needs lots of work). I have been thinking about doing it pro touring. Like to see pics if anyone has done a similar project.

it's not steel, but Factory Five has a kit car that fits the bill, full made to handle, nice chassis, etc.

Do it !
That would be cool.

Make it a High-Boy.
No fenders.
Tire clearance will not be a problem.

Mark Stielow built one for Summit Racing years ago that Troy rebuilt a few years back. It was all wheel drive, no fenders, really cool. Troy pulled out the 6-speed, put in an auto, narrowed the track width, and detailed it like a street rod. Looks good but not as cool as the original to me.

I tried to do a quick google search for it but couldn't find a pic. It was in a few magazines too so maybe you could do some more searching.

Sorry the car is not for sale. I am just trying to decide which way to go with it. Got some other old metal that might be for sale, depends on what your looking for.

Junk, wouldn't touch it if I were you.
But since I am not you.......Just tell me where I can pick the body up to get out of your way!

Not a 33, but a 32 with an LS and 6 gear. VERY cool car!

 Great looking street rod. Nice touch with the TTII wheels. Not sure about the "hair pins" for handling but otherwise :twothumbs

Great idea. I prefer them full fendered tho.
Vette front and rear suspension.

This but with paint is how 33-34 Ford should be built.

I'll post some pics of the car tomorrow, right now it is not much more than the shell and doors. Like I said earlier I am just trying to decide what direction to go with the car. Traditional street rod, something P T oriented, or even Rat Rod.

Another view of the 32 shmoov69 posted. I think a inboard shock independent setup would be steller.

A 33 just isnt a pro touring style car its a Hot rod. That 32(green) is a hot rod.

 The 32 (green) may not be pro-touring but it is a Street Fighter.:)

I wouldn't put a label on this car (other than the circa '89 wheels), but the hand-built chassis and suspension should hold its own...

That car is nice, is it glass or steel body? Something like that will probably hang with any PT car, that is what I am talking about. Mine will probably end up looking more traditional street rod, but I want the performance to be over the top.
Here is what I am starting out with, poor little coupe!! I have the doors, already metal finished, looking for a floor. 3"-4" chop in the works.
