E-Brake and shocks - first gen

I can't find a rear disc set-up with an e-brake that doesn't somehow interfere with the shocks on my 68 firebird. Other than a shock relocation, what is everyone doing about it?

ssbc rear disc brake setup has an e brake, part number A125 for the kit. Says it works with staggered shocks. http://www.ssbrakes.com/commerce/detail/index.cfm?nPID=1239

What is it that we dont know about your set-up that make 'nothing' fit ?? Do you have some odd damper not of conventional design ?? Have the dampers been relocated ?? Do you have the correct shock plates ??

This isnt a common issue with the 1st Gen F-body... that is why I ask the questions. :)

One side goes in front of rear wheel and other side gets put in back. Opposite sides of shocks if that helps.

Most are running two "left" hand calipers (in the case of C4/C5/C6 variants) with the drivers side being in front of the axle and the passenger side being behind, thus eliminating the interference issues. The hand may vary depending on the caliper choice, but it doesn't really matter so long as you avoid hitting the shocks and have bleeder screws towards the top when you're done.

It seems that everything I found on Ebay (first mistake)said there would be interference with my shocks. It doess't seem to be a problem for 67 set-ups , just 68 and 69. I couldn't figure it out. I looked at the pictures on all the kits including the ssbc and baer and they all looked to be pretty much the same. I couldn't figure out why there would be a problem in the first place so I thought I better ask before ordering something and going out in -10 celcius weather only to find out it wasn't going to work. Thanks to you guys, I've got it figured out.

Definitely beware of Ebay when it comes to brakes. Guys like Tobin will make sure you get a balanced braking system. Brakes are one area where spending a little extra coin will really pay off in the end, with Kore3 you will not be disappointed.
