Forgot about this section of the forum, so I also posted this question in Suspension tech.
Anyhow, How many splines are on a C6 hub? C5 hub? What diameter shaft?
Thanks for any help!

Trying to plan some stuff out for the DD ('01 Olds Aurora). Its 5x115, but I'd like to move to a 5x4.5 for better wheel & brake selection. Unfortunately the DD is a 33 spline. Will have to look into replacing the outer half of the CV Joint, or just drill out the hubs for a 5x4.5 pattern, not exactly a fan of the latter idea though.

Drive flange / stub axle = eleventy billion dollars
Re-drill the wheel flange = keepin it simple and affordable
Custom stubs gets expensive... depending on the complexity of the stub itself. I do know that Mark Williams does that kind of fiddling around (if you call, talk to Bret) but for your own safety... be sitting down when you start talking price.
May the Force be with you... but let us know how/what comes up with this. It sounds like fun.

You're probably right, and I am over analyzing things.
I think we are going to shelf this project for a couple months and focus on getting the Chevelle project up to speed.
Thanks again for the help! I definitely will update this when we get to it (probably this summer).
