Yeah I know, another '69 Camaro. Same old story… Since I was a kid, I wanted a '69 Camaro. Nine years ago, I acquired one out of Las Vegas. Just a straight six car with one repaint. I tore it down had it plastic media blasted and went from there. The shell is in very good shape. After a wedding, kid, and second house. I finally have enough disposable income to get this project moving. Home build with the help of my buddy for body work expertise.

Stock subframe
Global West upper & lower CA's
ATS LM spring adjuster/shock package 550lbs. springs
AFX spindles
ATS 670 steering box
ATS T56 kit
ATS LSX engine plates
Hotchkis front sway bar
GW solid body bushings
GW subframe connectors
GW L2 leaf springs

Still contemplating on installing 4 point roll cage. No engine yet, probably end up with an LS3. Currie 9" for the rear. Rolling chassis should be in the body shop within a couple of weeks. Sticking with the original color of Azure Turquoise with SS hockey stick stripes.

Nothing special, no new ideas, been done a million times before, but it's my turn now.... hence "Played Out".

Nice job on the subframe . I love the Azure Turquoise , not too many that color. Sounds like you'll have a sweet ride when your done.

Humility is a wonderful quality. The 69 Camaro song is one that is always pleasant to hear. "Play it again Sam", we're listening.
Great project.

Nice project and choice of parts. Who cares if it's played out, build and do what YOU want!

Is the car being mini-tubbed? If it's at that stage I'd do it for sure.

That's what I'm doing, what I want. I truly don't car if it's played out. It's just taking a bit longer to reach my goal.

I recently painted the underside of the car (DP90). I debated mini-tubbing. Like everyone else, I was inspired by Thrasher and your car. I was going to ask you besides rolling your inner fender what else did you have to modify to fit your 10" wheels?

Nothing else really, just used a BFH on the inner wheel wells and you have to make sure the rear doesn't sit too low and isn't too soft. BS on the rear wheels is 5.75"

Well everybody reaches different goals at different times of thier lives. I finished my car after 7 years, but still no kids after quite a while.

Rybar,

If you had to do your car over again would mini-tub? You got me second guessing myself...

Thanks,
