I was wondering if anyone had tried this before? If I decided to try what kind of problems would I run into? I haven't measured anything to see if it is close yet. Was just thinking that it might be a good upgrade. The front suspension I have is a WS6 suspension without the brakes, but it does have the rack and pinion. Any help would be appreciated.

They are really unrelated designs... The 4th gen suspension and it's McPherson struts are far from optimum, I wouldn't bother

Someone was going to do it but we never heard back.
There's nothing to mount the upper A arm to, you'd have to build a subframe to mount it up and if you were to do that you might as well build one to take Corvette suspension.

There is a company in utah that takes 4th gen bodies and mates them with 1st gen sheet metal, so you basically get a 1st gen with 4th gen suspension. But like Lowend said 4th gen stuff isn't all that spectacular. You'd be better off with an aftermarket sub. I personally like the C5 based ones. There are three that I know of:

I don't think I will be trying it after hearing from everyone. Thanks again.

Nice .... how did they do that? what i mean is it a 4 gen with 2nd sheet metal or a 4 gen front clip mated to a 2nd gen body?

I have seen Bills car at least 50 times but I never realized the 4th gen suspension. I always get stuck looking at how well the interior looks like it belongs there.

Wade's built that car right?
