These are my Rushforths Fuels finally on the car after having them for over a month. We got dumped on here with snow in Ohio this winter.
Thanks, Erik

It looks like a Harwood cowl to me (if that helps at all)

Eric,
Those wheels look great on your car! As far as I'm concerned Rushforth makes some of the cleanest design 5 spoke wheels out there, and still maintain the heritage to our muscle cars. Great looking wheel....great looking car! Congratulations on getting rid of the snow too!

Those wheels look really good on your car. Mind sharing the details?
Are the centers brushed satin w/ clear coat? Also give tire size info as well. I'm at a very similar set-up.

Thanks for the compliments. Before I can take the car out on the road I have to have the rears rebalanced. For some reason the sticky weights fell off during shipping and won't stick back on.
The hood I assume is a Harwood hood. It was on the car when I bought it. It does have a smooth finish underneath. I thought all fiberglass hoods had a textured bottom. Maybe the painter sanded it smooth.
The centers are brushed titanium with clear coat. The fronts are 17x8 and the rears 18x10's with a 305/40/18 Nitto. I could have gone wider in the rear but the rear is not narrowed and that would look wierd with an 18x12 and 8" backspacing.
Thanks, Erik

Erik,
That is one sweet looking ride, good choice on the wheels and tires. Those 305's look killer.

Damn...those Fuel's look awesome!
Jason designed a lot of little details into that wheel, kinda hard to improve on the classic 5-spoke design but man...he nailed it.
Great looking car:1st:...congrats!
Glad you were able to get it sitting outside, Erik. Thanks for showing off the wheels and for choosing Rushforths!

Right on Erik! We worked with Erik extensively while he was picking out the "right" wheel for his camaro, and looks like they fit perfect. Thanks again Erik.

Hey John,
Thanks for the wheels! One question: is there a reason the rear wheel weights fell off? I assume it has something to do with cold rims and the cold weather. I am sure I can run down and get the same sticky weights unless you know something I don't know.
Thanks, Erik

They are basically 3M tape, and the only reason I can think of is moisture got between the weights and the rim. I haven't come across a lot of weights falling off very easily once they are on, they usually stay on really well. I would suggest taking the rim to a tire shop and asking them to spin it on their balancer again.
Wheels look great!

icebird84,
Yeh, I know. Thats a winter fix for me. This was a drag car put back on the street. I already did all the lines from the pump up to the carb. I need to run all the fuel out of the tank first then I am going to replumb it all. I want to put a shutoff valve coming right off the fuel cell along with a better filter and then reroute the lines. Even though this car has a 540 in it, it still runs a mechanical fuel pump up front. I really don't want to switch to electric at all. I want to move the lines inside the frame rails if possible.
Thanks, Erik
