Just wanted to say hello. I was reading through Hot Rodding & saw the '68 Camaro built by Prodigy Customs, so thought I would look up the website. I have always wanted 1957 Chevy 210 (just like Project X) & finally have gotten one. My future plans for the car are a pro-touring stance, a 502/700R4 combo with a 3.42 or 3.73 posi rear.
Currently the car is a 350/powerglide combo with the stock rear end & stance.
If the readers of Popular Hot Rodding mag think the combo is familiar, it is. Project X was set up this way before the last build up of the car(427/6speed combo) I have read about Project X over the years & fell in love with the car when I was about 9 or 10(I'm 45 now). So that is why my 57 will be a tribute to (arguably) the most well known & most famous 57 of all.
My 57 will look very similar to my profile pic, only difference is that I will not have a cage. Just wanted to say hello, & I'm glad the hobby is still as strong as it has been in the past.
