lol. $9.99 bid so far and reserve is met.

How much do you think it would be worth to a recycling company? That car is beyond my ability I'm afraid to say!

I got you beat Steve. I am still trying to figure out why I brought this junk home. I guess I did not want to leave empty handed. Oh well. :hammer:

Guess you never seen Prodigy when we brought it home. Michael wanted to find the worst car we could so he could learn everything and to produce the most dramtic before and after pics.

It only looks scary because the Quarter Panel is missing. Tack a new full face quarter on there and primer it and I'll guarantee the bids will start flowing in. The picture is decieving...it's really no that bad.

I think starting with something like this would be a real big challenge.

I dont think it would be as much of a challenge as it would be financially devostating. Your looking at 10-15k easily to get that car presentable. And thats if you do all the work yourself. To get it Pro-Touring worthy your looking at a LOT more money. Believe me ive been doing rough projects since my first vehicle. All about money which I never had.
The worst part is how bad that body would be out of wack and twisted from sitting forever without the quarter panel since they didnt reinforce the car anywhere at all. THe quarter was torched off which distorts it even more.

All you guys are to much. I cant stop laughing. One person trying to out due the other when it comes to rust buckets. These things are cancer heaven. You have to be half out of your mind to start a project like this! I'm so blessed with my own car. I feel for you guys. My bad back
(3 surgeries) just aches looking at those pics.

Just so you guys know you can get that stripped shell all reassembled and primed ready for paint for the low cost of $12k
$11k if you give them your old body as a core charge.
Here are a few pics all assembled.

This would be REALLY tempting except for two (2) things. First and foremost, I have yet to completely disassemble my '82 Cougar sedan, much less complete it! Also, trying to register such a car here in Tennessee is quite the bureaucratic nightmare; it can take up to almost two (2) years!
On the other hand, Collinsville, Virginia is not far from me. It is about a 1 1/2-2 hour drive from where I live.

I think You might be better off starting with Legos

I think he will swap out the cowl tag and trim tag if you supply the core to swap.

I do believe that would be illegal. If he is real good, having him do the one you own might not be that bad for the price. If it the guy I'm thinking of, he also uses Firebird shells to make Camaros. Not good IMO.

Well I don't own a camaro any more. Looking for a 69 currently and while doing my many searches for a project, I found this guy.

That is who I was referring to above. Turn in your Firebird and get a Camaro.
