On my '69 Camaro, I'm replacing the outer wheel housings and doing a minitub at the same time. I've got the passenger side outer housing fitted, but not welded in. It would be much easier to cut the floor board and frame without the outer housing installed. Should I weld it in place before proceeding, or would it be OK to do the minitub and then install the outer housing?

Thanks!

does not make a diffrence if you weld the outer in yet. It would be easier though if you do both sides at the same time if you are using the dse kit, but if your just welding the strip of metal to fill in the gap it does not matter. are you just using sheetmetal to fill in the gap be more specific what you want to do and the size of tires your trying to run.

I agree that it does not matter. I cut my pass side without the outer welded in place.
