This thing could not run 150 if it fell out of a 747 at 30,000 ft.

That "thing" looks like a Lego's kit gone bad. It also looks like it would swallow the Escort in the background! It's huge for an Indy car.
Wow. I think I'd give him a dollar if he'd just use a spell-checker.

I think that thing has a closer resemblance to a street sweeper than an indy car.

I don't know but tere are two and they are "duelling". He mis-used the word duel again in there somewhere. That is one of my pet peeves, mis-using words like that. Dual vs. duel, then vs. than, and the worst is when someone doesn't know the difference between idea and ideal.
I'm not the greatest speller in the world but damn, you gotta know what the word your using means.

That thing would need 4 turbos, twin superchargers, 5000lbs of nitrous, and a mach 5 tailwind to make a 10.5:1 SBC push that brick to a buck'87.

CarlC,
X2
That's one of those racing trucks I used to watch on speedvision! I think a brick has better aerodynamics. I don't think that furnace duct behind the cab would hold up past 40 mph before self distructing either.

I love the speed rated tires on that thing too. They might make it to 92mph before self destructing.

Asked the seller a question, commented that it was a little large for an indy car. His reply:
The Item Description states "Propane powered Indy-style car" Indy Style. The chasis is from a chevy Suburban. No documentation for the timed run, only saved top speed from memory on the speedometer, I will add some interior pics, I have none at this time.
I replied asking for pictures of the run and of the vehicle in race trim as that thing surely couldn't run the way it looks in the pictures.
Car is set-up for automatic, but still has peddle for 4-speed
Its obviously a custom built rig with a different than stock driving position so why the extra pedal if its set up for automatic?
Very high rear-end gear 1/1
I'd like to see a picture of the rear as that is physically impossible to do in a stock rear.
It looks to have been crafted well but this guy is a legend in his own mind.

I always wonder when I see "works of art" like this one here.............
..............at what point did the owner say "It's done"...........
..............take a few steps back to admire his work and say "Man, that is cool!!"
This goes for the guy with the Whale Tail on his 81 Camaro....
And the guy with the polka dot flames down the side....
And the guy with the giant turbo decals.....
and on....
and on....
I'll never understand.
I guess the phrase "To each his own" is best used here.

187.... maybe if it got up to 40 and was tail ended by something doing 400, pieces of it might get to 187!

Wow! 187mph huh. That thing has to weigh 6000 pounds and maybe has 250hp. I am guessing more like 75mph, MAYBE. Thats friggen funny. And then on top of that he wants 40 G's for it! Thats really friggen funny. Just my 2 cents worth though. LOL
