Well - we decided to knock out a bunch of improvements this winter before season starts up again based on last years show and racing and feedback from a lot of great guys out there including many on this forum - thanks!
tuning the brakes - the are hard -we will be getting them dialed in.
changing the blower pulley and belt and re tuning it - to spin the F1R at its max. we think this should put it at 1300 bhp.
taking the rev limiter up to 6500 from the current 6200 to extend our gears a bit
dropping some taller tires on it -going from 27 to 28.5 inch with 60 series sidewalls for a little better traction.
redoing the front end look to get rid of any last vestiges of the eleanor look to it. will be redone based around airflow to the intercooler and radiator - ben hermance has been helping on rendering. will also include a new lower spolier that has quick connect clips on it for easy install and deinstall at the track.
moving the radiator and intercooler forward 3 inches to be able to change out blower pulleys easily without removing the radiator.
adding a really bada55 billet on off remote for the electrical system in the rear - will post some pics when we get it cnc'd
debating going from a tko600 to a jericho 4 speed since we are thinking heavily about taking it to the texas mile - we are thinking the 5th gear on the tko wont handle that power at 200+
should be busy for a while but I think we will be done for early march. targeting 9.9 at 145 - which should give us 1 really fast run before we are told thats a day for us :D then we will drive it away and down the street on its 93 octane pump gas.
I will keep you posted.
