Any ideas on how to go about repairing rust in the location of the body mount area at the front edge of the rear seats?
Here's a few pictures of what I'm dealing with:

This entire crossmember piece is probably not reproduced by the aftermarket is it? Seems the best way to tackle this would be to just weld in a good crossmember/body mount piece but finding a nice one of those in a junkyard will be next to impossible.

Andy, is it just the crossmember that is rusted or is the floor gone, too?
i think this is one place on my car that is NOT rotted!
unless you are going for originality, I would just try and box in the mount to the surrounding good metal...

Really its just the area around the body mounts that's bad. The rust on the floor boards looks worse than it is. I can't poke through it anyway and most of it comes up with a wire wheel.
I talked with Gregg about it and he apparently removed a complete crossmember from another parts car to use on mine that I didn't know about. So he's supposed to come up here one of these days and we're going to figure out how much we're cutting out and where.
The rotisserie so for as been great! Much easier to strip the bottom of the car with it turned vertical. Here's a few pictures from last night after doing a little more work on it.

If it wasn't the middle of winter and I had a concrete pad outside, I would roll the car out of the barn and shoot a few areas on the underbody with my pressure pot media blaster.

Yep. You better believe I am going to capitalize on this warm weather!
Need to flip the frame back over so that I can start bolting things back together. Still waiting on my QA1 coilover's to arrive though. Just about all of the QA1 coilover stuff at Summit is on backorder. :(
