Hydraboost/PS problem

OK went out to start my 05 Suburaban and had no p/s or brakes. Came back with the tow truck an hour later and everything is working fine. WTF?

I dont know if it is an issue with the hydraboost or the P/S pump. My thought is the P/S pump either works or doesnt. But I dont know a lot about these hydraboost units.

Any help is appeciated.....

It is most likely the fluid because of the temps you guys have up there. Go to the Chevrolet dealership and get a couple bottles of the low temp power steering fluid. There is a bulletin on this and it has fixed a bunch down here and our temps aren't as low as yours is. Older fluid has a tendency to do this so just drain what you have and give the new fluid a shot...bet it fixes it.
