Test Drive

I got to go for a test drive today, what a rush after so long of waiting. The car ran, drove straight, stopped, everything was great. Thanks to Gearhead Garage for all their hard work, and to my wife who has supported me, and told me to get it done the way I wanted

The lighting wasn't too good, but are a few pictures.

I will be driving it to Sac. Autorama, where it will be in their display.

Minitubbed in the rear, with DSE 2" drop springs, slide a links, not sure if you remember, you did the minitub and axle shorten for me.

Pulls straight, and drives nice.

Mike, what seats are installed in your car, they look great. Do you have a better pic of the seats?

The seats are Carbeau GTS if I remember right. They cut down the bolsters so my round body would fit better, then covered them in leather.

Well, I got to drive my car yesterday to Cal Expo Autorama, it will be inside with a bunch of cars from Gearhead Garage. Parked right next to Bassi's car. What fun that was, after 14 years, even brought my 4 year old with me. He liked it too. I was so worried about driving, looking at it, watching and feeling, Jason had to remind me to smile. Forgot to bring a the camera. It is all I hoped for. I am so excited, its getting closer to coming home.

The only thing getting me is the boost and fuel level gauges sticking out. It's just looks unfinished compared to the rest of the car.

Yeah the guages werent done, we were playing with them and the wiring behind them.

It was at the Sac. Autorama this weekend, looked great, and guages were finished.
