anybody use MetaLok from Dupont for bare metals??

There is an article in Camaro Performers about bare metal stripes..
They use the Dupont Metalok and clear coat...So, I was thinking of doing the same for my custom built cage in my 68'..I used emry paper and steel wool to clean and sand down.. Looks real good, so far.. Will the same process work for my cage?? Any input on that idea or experience with this Metalok???:idea:

All of Air Ride's bare metal strip cars are done with it and have not heard of any problems

metal lock is yellow. not sure if that was mentioned. are you trying to go for a bare steel effect of just clearing your cage? If so, no metal lock. But otherwise, amazing product, sticks to anything!
