What's up guys? New to the forum and just figured i would introduce myself and my ride. My names Anthony and my ride is a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. Bought the car when I was 18 from the original owner in Cali with 55k miles. Put some fresh paint, rugs, and seat covers on it with in the first year and now its time for some real upgrades. So fare the only real "pro-touring" upgrades are a SSBC disc kit up front, KYB all around and a Hotchkis bar out back. The plans for the rest of this winter are new leafs, Firm Feel front bar, and Bilsteins all around. The ultimate goal is tubular uppers in the front, 1" torsion bars, firm feel steering box w/ fast ratio pitman, aluminum driveshaft, 13" front brakes, 11" rear and some 18"s with good rubber...By the way it is a 383 Big Block car with factory sure grip rear, a/c, p/s, p/s and power windows. Its a lifelong keeper, so everything I put into it will be the best. Buy it once and but it right. Thanks Guys. I look forward to your feedback.

I love the interior. The red really sets off the look.

It's from Cali so keep it out of the salt!! Might get sick or something.

You could go for an early NASCAR look.

Love the look of those 64s ... welcome !!

The same type of wheels you have on the car, but in 17", would look sweet IMO.

cheers

Welcome to the forum. That is one sweet looking ride. I like the wheels that are on it. To bad they don't come in 18's. I really love that body style.

Thanks for the comments guys. I get a lot of love on the wheels, so right now I'm thinking about running these rocket wheels. They keep that old school look and are available in 17" and 18".

Good choice on the wheels... I am thinking about them as well. Nice and CHEAP and some decent backspacing. :)

Big car like that... gotta roll on the 18s. Oh baby...

Welcome! Nice Polara - how many years have you owned it now?

I used to have a '70 Polara 383 2dr - loved it. Also had a '63 Sport Fury convert last year. What great handling and well built Mopars the early b-bodies are.

I like the dark spoke wheel, with as much lip as possible. Also, look at some Hella halogens. I have a complete set of extra Halogens from the Kuda project - brand new - if you can use them. 4000/4001 quad lamp series.

XV's level 1 suspension kit will complement your car well. Firmfeel's drop leaf hangers are very nice so you can get the ride height w/o sacrificing ride quality.

I never had good luck with KYB - you should check out XV's shocks and Koni's shocks - both excellent.
