Qa1 Shock

Help me... I going to try to use a TC1538p QA1 shock on the rear of my 69 camaro I know it is sold to be a front shock, but with it being adjustable I can adjust it down to the valving of a rear shock. A shock doesn't know the difference if it is on the front or rear?
Can I Do this?

If you can mount it. If the travel is correct, your good to go

Thanks Frank, I'm at a 12in. ride height so I should be about half way between the stroke of the shock. Do you have these on a Gp?
