Gas Prices Affecting Sales?

So now the Big Three want to the governments help to raise the price of gas so they can sell more hybrid/fuel efficient vehicles. I guess the billions of dollars of our money they are receiving in aid aren't enough. Just because they screwed the pooch and can't figure out how to become profitable doesn't mean I should have to pay more at the pump to help them even further.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I read something to that effect this morning and got pissed. They will force us to pay more for cars and gas to fill there !!BS!! agenda. I can hardly wrap my head around that kind stupid thinking, then they wonder why people won't buy there products. MORONS!

It's the geneal mentality of government and people now a days. People should buy these cars regardless of gas prices because they will save money. Instead they say nah, I can afford sh*t miles per gallon so I'll get car x. Then prices swing again as they are going to do and it's waaaaaa I want my mommy to fix this. Here's comes government to the rescue to fix everything and steal some of your freedom in the process, but that's ok because you'll get to keep car x with its sh*t miles per gallon. Meanwhile people like me who save their money and take care of themselves will have to pay for being smart and not sticking our hands out crying for mommy. I'm sick of all this nansy pansy save us from ourselves crap. I'd rather watch it all burn at this point.
