Help me with some paint choices please.

Heres how my car currently sits.(except the grill and lights are in now) it will be getting either 18 inch CCW Classics or HRE's. Both with dark centers. I want some black on the car but dont want stripes or that front stripe across the header panel. Any ideas?

I like that color. I've been thinking of a similar color for my 67 Firebird, but I'm not sure yet. I'll probably keep it white, and if I do I'll consider doing something like the stripes on one of these

Also, what is the name of that color, paint manufacturer and code for that orange? I think my 70 Camaro is that exact one and I can't seem to track it down. Thanks!

The color is Chrysler Prowler Pearl Orange. Same as bad penny. Yeah that color looks the same or atleast very close. Any ideas on what i can do to my car?

Seriously though, you can propose verbal ideas or examples of photos on here and get feedback on it. Of course, it's very subjective input because everyone has their own biases, including me. Sometimes it's helpful and sometimes you get more confused.

There are some talented photoshop artists on here that can do a chop for you for fun if you tell them what you want to see. That's always a step in the right direction.

However, ask anyone on here that's had a professional designer take a look at their project and work with them on their dream ride. They are almost all 100% satisfied with the investment in renderings to get moving towards a final goal. At the end of the day, you have to stare at your baby in the garage and you want that feeling of pride. The worst feeling in the world is regret and buyer's remorse about something you did to your car. Renderings take all the guess work out of it and save tons of money and time in the long run. How much would it cost to repaint those "not-so-perfect" stripes? How aggravating is it to put the wheels on it you paid a fortune for and they just don't look right? Is skipping a crucial beginning step worth the hassle later?

Renderings are quickly becoming a "must do" in all builds, not just the high end magazine cars. They're a lot more affordable than most people think too. Price depends on what you need and how far you want to take it.

There are several professional designers that frequent ProTouring and Lateral-G, take a look at everyone's style, call for quotes and pick the designer that best fits your needs. You won't be sorry you did this!

As for what I would do to yours....You don't like Z28 stripes or the SS stripe right? What about 2 tones? They're a little played out but still nice looking. Don't worry about what purists say, this is YOUR car, do what you want! There are still a million things to do to 1st gen Camaros despite what many people think. That's where a designer comes in. Our job is to be innovative.
