Anyone out there running the 3" drop dse rear springs without being mini tubbed? I have 17 x 9.5 torq thrust with 275 40 17 on a 67 firebird project. Right now the car has stock springs on it. My worry is the hotchkis springs won't lower the rear enough for my liking. Any pics or input would be greatly appreciated.

We use and sell both. The 3" springs really drop the car a lot. At least 1" more then Hotchkis. If you have a lot of trunk weight, stereo, batteries, etc, i would caution on the 3" springs may end up nearly 4" springs.

I have the Hotchkis springs with a 17x9.5 now on a 68 and they have been great. I'm using BFG's 275/35/17 and don't have excessive wheel well gap.
