who watches their TV on the interweb?

I'm thinking about dropping my cable TV but I have shows I like to watch. I have heard of a couple of websites where you can watch TV on the internet. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or do this too? I really only watch the History Channel, some Speed, and major networks. Can I see LOST and House on the net right after the show airs on TV? Any other info I should know? Thanks

I am interested in this as well. I watch Leno a day or 2 after it gets aired. NBC has a lot of shows available for viewing, but nothing live. Is There anything you can watch live from the internet?

I use the internet to try out new shows. If I like them I then record them on the tivo. That way it cuts out a lot of crappy shows.
