I just finished this truck for a friend. A nice all original and pretty solid '67 Ford. He was going to have me do a simple scuff and prime, but it snowballed when he got hooked up with a soda blaster.
Truck has an FE 390, DJM dropped beams and shackle flip. He still has to use it as a "truck" for a while so he just had me do take care of some of the small eyesores and coat it in satin blue. It's just too cool. He picked it up today and I can't wait to see it with all the trim back on.

Nice work. That satin finish with the black wheels looks awesome.

What's the story with the hood(s)? It looks like they got swapped between start and finish.

They always were some of the better looking Ford trucks! I like the two tone!!

Thanks guys. It's the same hood, I took the scoop off to work on it, just haven't put it back on yet.
I'm trying to get him to leave the black wheels alone but he'll most likely put the hub caps back on.

I liked it better with patina.

Looks great now though. I secretly like 60's Ford trucks. Don't tell anyone.

Kool truck! Gotta talk him into turning the tires around- nothin' screams redneck hillbilly louder than "BFG Radial T/A"! IMHO

How much does a job like that cost? I need to get a car painted and need to see what kind of prices are out there.

Is it wrong the ever present antenna made me laugh? :)

love the satin color choice. How will it hold up to the element though?

LOL. I almost impaled myself on it when my step stool came out from under me once.

It's honestly a bit more delicate than it should be. I actually had primed it with the recomended amount of color mixed in the primer (about 10% to the RTS mix) and thought I was done but he didn't like it and wanted alot more blue in it. So it has more color than I like to mix in. But I gave him my disclamer and he's OK with that.
It stays in the garage 90% of the time anyway and this job was just something to tide him over until he can tear it apart. It still needs cab corners and he has better doors and fenders he's been hording for the total resto job later on.

Do you know the wheel tire setup? I have a 2wd short wide Silverado that I'm looking for ideas.
