When to buy wheels?

At what point in a full restoration do you buy the wheels?

I plan stripping the car very soon and installing the DSE tubs and starting the full restoration.

sometimes early on to fab room for fitment. Or get/borrow a mock up set. I like to choose the rim and tire combo first, set the stance then fit the car to it. But then again im bass ackwards.
