Anything cool going on the next couple of weekends??-rant!

Rattin, smattin, stinkin, piece of....:machine: Well, my wife and I were supposed to leave on a 7 day carribean cruise sunday AM and she was filling out the onboard charge card on the computer today and it came to a question of if she was pregnant. She entered in how far along she was, at 29 weeks, and it said to contact the cruise offical because they do not accept passengers that are past 24 weeks along. Sooooo to make a long story short, after the run thru of everything, we are not going on the cruise this next week! Oh and did I mention that at this point in the game, the tickets are NON refundable!:machine::machine: THIRTY-FIVE HUNDRED FREAKIN DOLLARS!!!! It is our fault prolly as much as anyone's because it did say in the very last page in the disclaimer bs of the book about the pregnancy. BUT the freaking travel agent should've said something too....that discussion will continue tomorrow needless to say!:enguard:

So, I do feel bad that my wife has been looking forward to this for about 8 or 9 months for a "break" from life and from the current kid, oh and to rest up for the next kid 24/7. Me, not too worried about it, but I do feel we should do something to get away for her. Anyone got any ideas for a break for a prego woman? Any events within 500 miles of here? She would be game for that she said. Remember she was on the Power Tour a few years ago while she was 6 months prego.......Long haul to Florida........in an uncomfortable 69 Camaro......turbo's pumping plenty of heat inside......without A/C!! She is a good woman!! LOL!

Too late, but I prolly wouldn't do it anyway. Karma is a bi#(h!! I would come home sick or to a house that burned down or something! LOL! But, it also ain't right.
Sooo... Here I am! Anything goin on or somewhere we can go for the week or weekend that a prego will be happy to be at?
Shows? Events? Anyhthing? LOL! As long as it is in driving distance of about, well, whatever!

did your travel agent know your wife was pregnent?..if so im sure they know the rules of cruises and should have told you..id try to fight them on some refund or a trip somewhere else..

Actually, my mom and step dad are in Brownsville/Padre, TX for the winter (think spring break, except for seniors......."geriactrics gone wild!!" LOL!) and we may hop in the Caddy and cruise on down there for a few days.
Anyone think of anything on the way?

You could come up to louisville, ky and help me paint. My wife is 20 weeks pregnant and has me painting every room in the house. So I am painting every weekend.:idea: Hope everything turns out with healthy baby and sorry about the 3500 bucks.

LOL, thanks for the offer!! But I still need to finish the crown moulding in the baby room as it is, it is up, just not filled and painted.
I guess we will run down to the seniors party in Brownsville for a few days. May stop in Dallas tomorrow night. Anything going?

Wow- sorry to hear this!

We recently went on a cruise to get away from it all (kid etc.) and it was great. Wife wasn't pregnant though (but she might be afterwards...LOL!)

I hope you get either a refund or a chance to reschedule at least. Good luck!
