****Update 6-8-14 ****

Do not use these bushings, they have too much rubber and the lower control arms move around... I've swapped them out for KRC nylon bushings, they are so much better...

Maybe I'm confused, but for the LCA to pivot up and down, the bolt must be longitudinal to the car, and offsetting the bolt could only move it up, down, inboard, or outboard, but not forwards/backwards.

This would change static camber and/or camber curves, but not caster?

That was the old SCCA cheater setup for BSP C4 Corvettes.

not knowing anything about those bushings it's hard to say if they move the A-arm logitudinally or not but it does look like the hole has been moved vertically that would affectroll center height, but again they could either push or pull the A-arm in or out depending on how they mount in the A-arm

The control arm's pivot axis for suspension travel remains the same, but this mod rotates the LCA as seen in plan view about the rear bushing. As the forward bushing pulls the front of the arm inward, the lower ball joint is also pulled inward, and it must also move forward. Caster, camber, and toe settings are all affected. Theoretically, the curves are also affected but I don't think the gains change much.

I was under the impression that it changed pulled both points in or out.

It sounds like you only use one offset bushing per arm, installed in the front to pull it in.

But couldn't you use two to pull the fronts in and push the rear out by installing the bushings in opposite directions? Since they're rubber the misalignment wouldn't be a big deal. This could be a cheap way to gain more caster with stock control arms.
