i bought my project today!!! 1970 camaro rs... i personally think i stole this one!!! wanted to get opinions on my decision... only body work needed is a passengers fender, other than that its extremely solid!!! it has the wrong seats and no center console, but the rest of the interior is all there!!! and its also got a 12 bolt posi!!! gave 2k... did i do good???

now for the plan... please feel free to chime in on anything and throw your opinion my way, as im sure i will be needing lots of help along the way!!!

the plan:
body work first, which wont take long since there is very little... the roof can actually be saved, so i will blast the car and put it in primer including the interior...
pull the body and blast the frame... paint the frame... all new suspension (probably hotchkis unless you have better suggestions)
blast all the small parts... bolts, nuts, etc...
baer or wilwood brake system... 13" front 12" rear
zz502 engine w/ tremec tranny...
march pully system...
all new interior with covan dash and autometer guages...
polished vintage air system (including lines) and more polished/chrome under hood (booster/master...etc...)
mirror finish deep black paint w/ white stripes, including under hood and smooth fire wall
dropped down with 20" foose nitrous II wheels
just my first thoughts....
?????????????????????????
throw em at me!!!

Sounds like a good deal. Hopefully the body is as good as you think. Sandblasting can show allot.
Sounds like a great plan.

Even though you are an OU fan. Go Cowboys....
