Congrats to you! Fatherhood is a great thing. My son will be two in May, and can already pick my car out in a crowded parking lot. :)

What did you guys have? Name?

Life is gonna change now
You can say that again. That child will be the center of your universe from years to come. It won't always be easy, but yes...the rewards are absolutely priceless. I have 2 boys (3 and 5) and I just can't imagine my life without them.

Congrats to you and the Wife.

You have now entered a new stage in your life.
I have 2 boys 8 and 11.
I am having a blast..
I have found that one must always enjoy the "phase" of life that you are in. So many people always look back or forward and miss out on how great the times are in the present!
A bit of advise that was given to me that I will pass on..
After our 1st child we really were not planning on having another child.
(not because of anything bad.we were just happy with one)
We were told that the greatest gift that you can give your child is a sibbling.. Truer words have never been spoken. Watching the kids play and grow up together is a wonderfull experience.

p.s. You may want to wait a few months before bringing up the 2nd child deal to your wife!!

Congratulations!!! You beat me to having a kid. Hmm... Actually, I think your kid will be beating me too. Maybe I should just get a cat. Yeah, that's it. I'll be the cat lady....guy....whatever...

Congratulations on the new baby! It is a life altering experience and a joy to do. I have a 17 month old girl Morgan Killeen and she has been the best thing that has ever happend to my wife and myself. Have fun with your baby and good luck with diaper duty.. BTW nice post Bugger made me laugh because I live 3 houses away from this creepy cat lady. Her cats always wonder onto my land and I have to take them back to her. Needless to say she smells like cat litter and other cat related things.

Congrats on your new addition. Maybe I missed something but did you say if it is a boy or girl? I am guessing by your post that this is your first? I can remember being where you are now. I knew the length, weight and everything else. Now my oldest is 22 so that has been a while...

I just love it when we add March babies to our family here :icon996:

I agree about the siblings, I have two boys and two girls, watching the two older girls become friends is awesome. I hope the two boys are the same.
