what are you guys using to cover your speakers in your hat racks? i thought about using some type of spandex or other stretchable material to some what blend the speakers with the fabric on the package tray. i hate the big metal grills that come with the speakers and im trying to find another option. thanks for your help.

They offer speaker fabric at alot of places. I usually put it over the grills though for strength.

If it is for a Camaro, why don't you just get deluxe rear shelf trim that has the mesh speaker cut-outs? This eliminates the need for speaker grilles and keeps the speakers invisible from inside the car.

Undermount the speaker(s) and make your own package tray out of a thin board and cover it with speaker cloth. Or, check out Marquez Design and buy one of his rear trays.

It's called "doublenit" Most fabric stores have it. It's what I've always used. Lasts forever in the sun, since it's usually synthetic.
