Ok.
I always search and search before I post , So I'm sorry to go over some of the same info again but ,
My '69 Camaro has some suspension binding.
When parked on level ground , the REAR ride height will be different at times. Sometimes it's higher on the right , sometimes on the left.
So , I was thinking maybe the PolyGraphite Urethane bushings in the the rear spring shackles were binding. ( I still have rubber bushings in the front eyelet of the rear springs )
Maybe the rear springs themselves are binding.
Or maybe the shocks are not releasing completely.
Also , maybe the FRONT control arm PolyGraphite Urethane bushings are binding and thats holding one corner of the nose down.
Thus, keeping the rear pulled up on one side.
I'm also getting what I think is Snap Oversteer at higher speeds in corners. It's not a very good feeling. About halfway into a corner , I suddenly get oversteer.
The car " twitches " and I have to correct the steering to stay in the road .
So , I thought maybe suspension binding may be the root of the problem.
I was gonna start by replacing the Front Upper and Lower Control arm bushings with Del-A-Lum bushings and get rid of the Poly stuff.
And also get rid of the Poly Shackle bushings in the rear leaf springs.
( I've got a Global West Kit with Del-a-lum shackle bushings and spherical bearings for the rear leafsprings )
My question is :
Should I use the Spherical bushing in the Front Eyelet of the Rear leaf spring ?
Will it be too harsh for the street ?
Will it allow the tires to rub the inner fenders when the rear axle tilts ?
Is it not worth it ?
