There is a ton of great swaps in the archives for various chassis types where an LSX is used with both a traditional crossflow radiator and dual-pass designs. For both of these there are some great pictures in several threads of pre-formed radiator hoses that look like a factory fit. However, there is very little information about details. To me, it's these types of details that really stand out.

How about we start a thread showcasing the swaps for any chassis that have off the shelf pre-formed hoses? The following would be very helpful:

1) A picture
2) A manufacturer name, part number, application, etc.
3) The inside diameter of the hose
4) The distance from the centerline of the entry end to the centerline of the exit end. This way it would be easy to tell if the distance from the pump outlet to the radiator inlet (top hose), or the radiator outlet to the pump inlet (bottom hose.) The bottom hose will be tough.

I would start but mine is a bunch of sections. It is functional but not what I really want.

Show us what you have.......

1994 Camaro Z28 Radiator and fans. The hoses are from Autozone, for a 2000 Camaro Z28 (uppet and lower.) No modifications to the upper radiator hose, the bottom i had to trim a 1/2" off of to get it to fit perfect.

When doing engine swaps, I have always ended up using 2 seperate hoses to make one single hose. This allows to easily find the bends that are needed as well as taking care of any diameter mismatches that might be present. Jags that Run sells beaded aluminum couplers that can be used to join two hoses together. They are offered with various combinations of diameter to suite the application. For a clean look I also like to use the Gates heat shrink hose clamps. They can be purchased at McMaster Carr. I have some details on page 8 and 10 of my build thread.

just did this yesterday.I cut a piece of brake line and bent it to the shape I needed for both hoses and then headed out for the parts store.just find the id sizes first and then just start looking.really didnt take to long.saved the part numbers from the hoses but couldnt tell you what their made for.did have to cut about 2 inches from either end to fit juxt right.oh yea bought a craftsman hose cutting tool. works really slick.

I used an F-body radiator and fans. Here are the hoses I used

GY # 61609 Napa # 8244 Lower hose for LS1 rad / fans

This is a 1993 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L ( upper hose )

GY# 61099 Napa # 7902 Upper hose for LS1 rad / fans

This is a 1989 GMC Safari ( mini van ) 4.3L ( upper hose )

I used the Advance auto PN# E71306 for the LS1 upper hose $8 less than Napa

But the equivalent at Advance for the LS1 lower is to stiff to make the right bend. Use the Napa hose.

Both hoses will need to be trimmed to fit, my application is a 69 Camaro, 2001 LS1, F-body accy's.

The lower hose had to be stretched to fit the thermo housing. The upper hose makes a dip down close to the driver side fan motor. Its not the prettiest routing but will get you on the road quick.
