It will go up to a top speed of 250km/h, which makes it pretty suitable
as highway chase cars.

The interior is chock full of integrated police equipment such as an
automatic license plate recognition system, 360 degree exterior
surveillance capability, controls for a 130hz to 350hz bass siren, Night
vision compliant interior illumination, integrated forward looking
infrared system, integrated shotgun mounts, hose able backseat and video and audio surveillance of the rear passenger compartment.

According to the manufacturer - Carbon Motors - The front seat was made
to resemble a "helicopter-style cockpit". The company reportedly asked for
input from nearly 2000 police officers in a bid to make the car "cop
friendly".

Saw this on Jalopnik a while back. I hope it is picked up. You will be able to spot those headlights, grill, and roofline from a long ways away.

It's a cool car, but one thing that scares me is the license plate recognition system. Supposedly it can scan all license plates near the vehicle AT SPEED. Meaning the officer can be simply driving down the highway while the onboard cameras and computers scan everything around him - all the cop has to do is decide whom to pull over. Something tells me California will be the first to get these, so you guys out there better make sure you don't have any outstanding parking tickets, traffic tickets, and your insurance is all paid up.

I thin kthis is the one with the all aluminum construction and turbo deisel engine - that would be good as well since it would last a lot longer.

they could drive their cars for 500K miles before sending them back for a retrofit instead of the current average of 150k.
