Was out driving yesterday, when suddenly, my shiftlite started.. I checked where it was supposed to light up (5500 rpm) and I never reved that much... It's still on..

Does anyone have any idea of why it's on all the time? Is it some kind of signal telling me something is broke in the shiftlite/tach?
