Went from a 2005 Chevy 2500HD 6.0l Crew Cab to this:

Just brought it home today. My wife and I carpool and I was making a payment on something that basically sat in the driveway. I didn't want to be without 2 vehicles, however, so my wife found this 2000 s-10 at work for $2K. Not a bad ride either for the money. It handles pretty well. I think it came with a rear sway bar from the factory to help tighten things up.

It's got a couple of little issues like the oil pressure gauge bouncing around and a couple fo scratches here and there, but it has right at 106K miles on it so that kind of stuff is to be expected I guess. The interior is clean and the kid who had it before me just put a stereo and new Alpine deck in it, but for some reason no sound is coming out of the sub. The headlights need to be adjusted and I think the fog lights must be pointing straight down because I barely see them when they are on. But all in all I consider it a good buy.

Smart move, it looks great and will save a lot.

I keep looking for such a deal to replace my 77 C10 that will require 2 grand just to bring it back to ever looking that good.

I can remember never having a vehicle with less than 100k on them and considereng that they were well broke in. now days 100k is only 1/2 way there compared to the 50k to near death for 70's and 80's vehicles.

Great buy and I hope it works out for you.

Now keep yourself from getting a ticket !!!

You are going to like the truck for sure. If I could say one thing though, ditch the bench!
