Well here it begins: PROJECT QUIKSILVER
Yeah I know there's another car out there with the same name, I'll just be the Canuck version https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2005/07/biggrin1-1.gif
We got the car into the shop and started dismantling it, and already found a surprise. The previous owner had removed the rear fin (center and sides) to prime the car then reattached them leaving bare primer beneath the fin. We have blisters to repair on the lower fenders, filling the licence plate anchor holes and replacing the rear lower bumper valance.
We installed the Second gen hood from Anvil auto, great quality piece.Going to repaint the car with 02 Firehawk bright silver metallic.

Yeah, just paint this time.
I've already installed APC racing seats, Grant steering wheel and G-Force 5point harnesses in the interior.
Next will be improving suspension, wheels and tires.
These cars look so good in silver. Excellent choice

Thanks,
The stripes are all painted and the clear has been layed, I've just been cautiously uploading pics to try to keep some of the guys in my home town in the dark for a little while longer.
All we have left are the mirrors, rear wing, window trim and final assembly.
Can't wait to cruise into the local car meet and show off!:woot:

Lookin' good, Martin! Good idea having the gray stripe surounding the carbon fiber area. You mihgt want to tie down the front corners with some hood pins especially if you intend to drive fast (shich I'm sure you will). Great job!
