Hi everyone, another Aussie here just sharing a few pics of my project - a 65 Mustang coupe. It has been about 5 years since I bought it and it has undergone a full bare metal resto in this time and is now in the assembly stage. I'd hate to know what I have spent on freight over time given that I live about 1000 miles from a capital city and have also bought a lot of stuff from the States. Anyway, here are a few details:
302 small block - alloy heads, roller cam, etc
RRS coil-over front suspension and notched shock towers
CRS rack and pinion steering
31-spline 9" diff - 3.5:1 gears
Rushforth Super Spoke wheels
Hope to make some more progress over the christmas break. Will look at starting wiring (:pat:) and some interior work - going with a full off-white interior. Anyway, will post further progress pics if anyone is interested.
Thanks
Evan

What front suspension are you running that you were able to cut the shock towers so far back?

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Front suspension is RRS (Revelation Racing Supplies) - an Australian brand (it is distributed in the US too) which includes coil-over struts which don't require an upper control arm. The space will be handy when it is time to step up the engine combo to a tall-deck block and/or bigger pipes, or twin turbo's....... :naughty:

Very nice, very clean lines. I think the white interior will look nice with the exterior color. Keep the pics coming.

Extremely cool, man! I'm about to start a '65 coupe project myself.
I was thinking about doing an air-ride suspension setup to get the stance I was looking for...But yours is pretty much spot on. Any further details about your setup (front and rear)? I'm looking forward to progress!

Thanks man - setup is RRS coil-overs on the front (which I would like to sit a bit lower than they currently are, and am going to contact RRS about this because they are supposed to provide a 3 1/2 inch drop) and rear is just re-set leafs and a small lowering block, although I am going to add an airbag helper which just sits between the top of the spring and body to avoid bottoming out on the trimmed down bump stop given the reduced suspension travel.
