Who the heck are you people? (everyone please read.)

We've been kicking around the idea for some time to request an actual name to go with your online identity here at pro-touring.com. There's just something about having a real name to respond to rather than a screen name. Take into account that many of us deal with each other in real life either through events or vendors and the need to use real names becomes even more prevalent. So, we'd like to formally request that you guys include your actual name in your sig. You don't have to include your full name if you don't want to of course. We'd appreciate at least your first name though. And I think it'll bring our all ready tight-knit community a little closer together.

Note: If you'd like to change your screen name (I changed mine from "Provair" to TonyL) Now's your chance. Just post up if you've made a change and included your name, kinda re-introduce yourselves. Or if you'd like your user name changed.

There is a way to include your real name under your screen name in the programming somewhere. Team sites and a few others I am on already do this with the first name only.

I have to admit something now that this is happening. I have met several people here over the years at a show or power tour or somewhere and they would know my name since it is my username, and assume that I knew them too. Maybe I did but it was car69guy or something, not their name. This really helps to put a real name with a board member. Even at the Protouring dinner every year I find myself trying to figure out just who it is I am talking to if they forget to put their real name on their nametags....
