I vote for leaving it in primer and scaring the crap out of little kids with it!

Any Dyno numbers?

awsome looking car, i normally don't like flares, but from some reason they just look right on that car. i wonder if that rear spoiler add-on could be made out of lexan, so it isn't as noticable, but i guess with a car like that subtlety isn't that big of a deal, but hey as long as it's functional. sweet sweet looking car. maybe when its finished it should race that other camaro that was on the cover of PHR with the wing and flares.

I saw the car and thought, "man that kicks ass!!!" then i saw the spoiler and it kind of ruined it for me...I understand that maybe it's needed but i cant stand the way it looks...Besides that it's awesome from what i can see!

Bad car for sure but Tony I was checking your site and you need to hook us up with more of that 160mph on a Vipers butt vid than 12sec.!!! Now that is cool stuff!!!

Boodlefoof - they make awesome bodywork for Z's. My 73 had a 3 piece rear spoiler, ducted front spoiler. Ran it 3 years at Lime Rock without a lot of mods and it handled very well - lowered, bars, desmogged, bolt-in 4 pt and racing tires. I loved that car.

Hey Rick,

The plan on the Z is to build a full space frame for it. It will be a learning experience in fabrication. I was inspired by one of the members on this site actually... I had been thinking about building an ultimate tube-framed road car for awhile. Looking around in the "Cars" section under the Mustangs is one that is pretty slick. The owner's name is Preston and he frequents corner-carvers.com too. More pics of the car over there.
