I have found a supplier of billet sill plates for 66-67 Chevy II. However, I'm not crazy about the wide space ball milled pattern that is offered. Looks too street roddish.

Any ideas on what pattern would look racy/street fighterish to go with my Modo pedals?

Pictures would be great.

Thanks!

I have been thinking about the same thing for my camaro. I am curious what this thread will come up with.

We have been working on one for the major cars for a few months now, we should have something soon that we will be able to show pictures on. We are trying to built it with a low cost so they will sell.

A series of round black dots would be appropriate if they are spaced right. I would think that 3 rows with the middle one staggered would look great if they were 3/8 to 7/16 in size.

This is not so much about style, but about how it is made. For us guys that already have a painted car, why don't you make the sill plate about about 1/16 to 1/8 inch larger to cover up where the old plate rested against the paint. This way it will look better than if it doesn't match/cover the old location.

Any other ideas?

Not talking specifically for a Chevy II/Nova, but anything.

They aren't billet, but I have a set of brushed aluminum style sill plates on my 67. They are just ABS plastic with a brushed aluminum finish, but I think they look nice. They are from Covan's Classic, and I think they make a carbon fiber finish as well.

problem with my stockers is that the toe of my shoe always catches the sill plate when getting out of the car and destros the sill plate after a while...
