That's awesome.
There is something similar here in NC that is supposed to open at the new High Rock facilities sometime next year.

I like racing, but I think the noise would get a little tiring. I prefer this subdivision in NC:

Yes it is... Fairly close to Helen and Suchess and Richard B Russell scenic hwy :bananna2:. Great driving roads. Great views. Great camping and land is still reasonable in that area.

Hmm, I don't know what it is like in the US, but I wonder how long it is before one of the residents complain about the noise...

Sorry one of my pet hates, people who move into an area with an established race track / airport / other noisy place who complain about the noise and have it shutdown or moved or other restrictions placed on it.

Road Atlanta is about an hour from this place here we are talking about in a town called Flowery Branch. It too is amazing scenery. If you watch any race from there, the entire area looks as nice as the course. Anyway, what you're talking about RA has had to fight against. That track has been there for a long time and brought in millions to the surrounding businesses and yet someone still bitches because they didn't bother to make sure a race track wasn't near their home. There are many more cases all around the country of this type crap happening unfortunately

No prices on the lots, but they range from 1/2 to 2 or 3 acres.
I did email them about group events, I will post the info when I get info.

35K to join and 3k per year for dues sound about right for these places. It looks like most of these places are in the 15-50k range to join.

35k seems reasonable if you do a lot of track time. Up in the NE the clubs are like $100-125k and 5k+ year... way steep. I visited the new Monticello NY one, one heck of a nice track.

but for $125k you can use the heli-pad and 4.1 miles of track!

I got am email from AMSP today. They are going to send me a price for a one day track rental fee for a group. We will see what happens.

This one is local to me, I've been there a couple of times & I'd love to live in one of those houses. Unfortunately in doing so I'd find myself single.:dunno:
