Since many of us are using LS engines and 6 speeds I wanted to put out a warning to stay away from the company Six Speeds inc.
I bought and paid for a complete 6 speed from them and have not received it yet . I bought this in 07 and requested my money back since the problem . I was always put off and told they would send it in a few weeks.
To this day I still have nothing. I was told that a check was sent 1 month ago and still have not recieved it. I spoke to them by text messages since that is the only way to talk to them now and was told to contact her attorney.
Anyway please spread this info to steer clear from the company .
There is a 13 page thread on LS1 tech of people the have screwed. It appears they built the fastest NA 6 speed LS engine 02 camaro race car with all of our money .

No shortage of disreputable businesses, and its always good to know who they are.
I bought my T-56 from D&D, and they were, and are, top notch to deal with.

Jason, sorry to hear about the problems with Six Speed Inc.
In addition to the vendors above, I can also recommend Liberty's Gear without reservation. Don't judge them by their website. LOL

....and for those in SoCal, Transaction in Sun Valley carries TONS of parts, including good used pieces, at good prices. I bought a used T56 reverse lockout solenoid from them this week for $20, and it looked like new.

There is a guy in Magestic Beach, Ny. named Jay (jason) Bruno that use to own Absolute Speed. He owes me about $3500. I will catch up to his a$$ one day.
I hope you do the same. When I saw you at RTTH4, you did not look like a stranger to the gym....they may want to reconsider

Thanks guys. I will get them someday .
The thing that burns me is that they have a 100,000 race car they are still racing and his wife Amber is driving around a Escalade.

yeah I told him what I wanted to do and what my ideas were he explained to me why my ideas were not good. What really got me was when he said I don't care where you buy from. I'm here to answer any and all questions you have. I 'd called AMP but they always had to call somebody else and would take a week or 2 to get back with me(If they even bothered to call back).

File a claim yourself in small claims court or file for interstate fraud charges since they are not in your state of residence. Have them served and haul their a$$ to court. At this point I would spend a $1000.00 just to enjoy making their life a little more miserable!

Rockland Gear! Jason, I have dealt with George he lives on Long Island and has personally delivered stuff to me. Rockland New York isn't but an hour away, if traffic cooperates. Great guy/company to deal with stands behind the product. He will come through for you!

I went by the Six Speeds shop on West Little York today and they're gone. I spoke to the manager of the business park, and she said they skipped out several months ago in the middle of the night. They owe her money and she's looking for them too! I'd considered doing business in the future with these guys (their local), when I got to that point in my project. I'm sorry for those of you who have lost money from them.
I have little patience of businesses that take advantage of other's trust and run off with their money!

Such a shame as I've delt with them twice. The first time was for parts and they sent them out quickly. The second time was back in October, and this was for a fully built T56. They did take considerably longer than they originally quoted me and all the supposed shipping mixups did make me nervous, but I must say the did pull through and ship it to me. Too bad to hear they just skipped out in the night with people's money. They were once very reputable on LS1Tech.

Hey G-ForceDesign guys,
Sorry to hear about these scum bags. You should contact the District Attorney and ask if they can take some action since it was more than $500 they kept of yours.
I don't know if we talked about it this summer when you displayed your kick ass Demon in our booth at Chryslers at Carlisle, but I got ripped off by a well known shop in WI which went out of business. Lost thousands of dollars of parts including my rare as hens' teeth valances, shaker hood, decklid, etc for my '71 Cuda ... Sucks

Makes you wonder with the economy sinking into the toilet if we might not see more vendors going under, and more people getting burned. Makes me scared to spend any money right now.
Well....that is, if I had any money.
Sorry to hear about that Jason. I concur with the consensus here....sue the rat b*stard.
Always use a credit card and you're fine. If you have to send them parts, like say a transmission, then it's not so easy. Now is a good time to be careful though. You're absolutely right about that Tony.
