Congratulations to Team Prodigy with 3 cars to PRI Show 2008
I must admit I am most happy for Will and Shanna of all the cars we have going in. PRI is such a honor and these good people went through so much stuff with their nightmare the first time around for this car, they really deserve this. Congratulations to Will and Shanna Blanton with their awesome 1969 Camaro Convertible "Back In Black". Wilwood has selected Back in Black as their booth feature vehicle to promote their new Dyna Pro 6, 12.19" brake kits. The 12.19 Dyna Pro 6 is the ultimate "tweener kit" that bridges the gap between big 4 piston and monster 6 piston kits, providing big brake bling and power at a affordable price. While power full enough for any size wheel and tire combo, the Dyna Pro 6 also fits 17" wheels allowing large impressive calipers not normally available to the 17" wheel crowd. Both the Blanton and prodigy could not be more proud to be so closely associated with the leader in aftermarket brakes for the Pro Touring scene. Come by booth 3001 right in the center of the convention hall and see Back in Black and the new Dyna Pro 6 in person. the Prodigy Crew and the Blanton's will even be there to say hello.

Congratulations to Sam and Sharon Katanich and their wicked 55 Chevy 2 door hardtop. Sam's 55 was chosen by Braille batteries as one of their feature vehicles for the 2008 PRI Show. Prodigy Customs is a distributor for Braille Batteries incredible product line and is very proud to have Sam's car represent this awesome product. Sam is absolutely stoked about getting into the PRI Show. If you see him by the car, say hello, a nicer guy you will never meet. Sam's car is sporting Braille's awesome B6034 Group 34 battery with 1146 Cranking Amps and 60 Amp/Hr Reserve.

And our own Project EmptyNest makes a Cameo appearance at the PRI Show 2008 coming back for a second year in a row. Getting in PRI once is tough, being asked 2 years in a row is just ....................... But when Braille Battery wanted a car that could properly represent their ultimate carbon fiber battery in the Pro Touring movement, Project EmptyNest was their first choice. Project EmptyNest is outfitted with a pair of Braille Batteries one of a kind super lightweight, mega power dry cells Carbon Fiber Batteries. Weighing just 21LBS each, these little 6.6" X 5.2" X 6.8" batteries pack a wicked punch with 1380 Pulse Cranking Amps and 31 Amp/Hr Reserve. We lost nearly 40LBS off the rear of the car by making the switch and gained considerable cranking amps. Here are a few pics, but if your at the show you need to come see these engineering marvels for yourself. Lisa, Michael and myself could not be more proud and honored to represent Braille batteries Carbon Fiber Line of Batteries.

Congratulations Frank. It was really nice hanging out with you on Tuesday, and the cars looked awesome. I guess the header gaskets that we got at the Speedshop worked okay on the Pontiac? When I visit Orlando again, I'll be glad to chauffer you to the speedshop again, lol. Thanks again for letting me visit the shop.

Well, not everyone shows up with a G8 rental! I think I have to have one.

Yeah, thanks for the ride Wayne. I ended up removing the header gasket and just tighten the flange with no gasket. Was tighter then the blown gasket but still a minor leak none the less. It was only 30 miles or so to the Convention Center. It was fine driving back and forth. I am going to search some metalized gaskets.
Enjoyed having you, thanks for the help.

Man that was so freaking cool... So if you ever get a call at the last minute asking if you would like to have your car at PRI or some other big show say YES and figure out how to get it done and then go. The show was awesome! We had a great time walking around checking out cars. It was really awesome to have my car in the Wilwood booth, thanks to those guys, Frank and the Braille Battery crew for that. Frank I had a great time at dinner Friday night, thanks for the hospitality you and Lisa are great. Next time I will have to keep Shanna away from Lisa, she is learning new places to spend money.

Hey, thanks to you guys. The car was really a huge hit and Wilwood was very happy. And 2 magazine features! Looks like I will need it for a few weeks until we get it shot as one magazine is shooting a few of our other cars once I gather them. I will take good care of it.

Sorry that dinner kind of grew from a cozy dinner for 4, but it seems to go that way. I can't believe Lisa hustled up that big table in that place. Sorry you and I did not get much one on one, I hoped you enjoyed all the other company. Not many outside the industry get to have dinner with big time industry names and a couple magazines editors!

We will try that dinner for the 4 of us again when I bring the car home. And yeah, I think Lisa and Shanna could be bad company, LOL!

And thanks so much again to you and Shanna.

It's been cold up here so no big hurry. The company was great enjoyed talking with everyone. We will have plenty of time to get together. I will be back down there in January taking the kids on a Disney Cruise and then again in February going on a Cruise with Lennox. Go ahead and put a good polishing on it for the shoot.

Congrats on the success at the show! The cars are awesome! I can't wait to read the coming articles. Is it too early to ask which magazines they'll be in? :1st:
